Yoga for Beginners:

Anyone who wants to, can practice yoga. Anybody can breathe, therefore can practice yoga. This class is slower paced and  is accessible to people of all sizes, ages, and fitness levels. Learning yoga concepts and principals will remove fears or challenges in doing  yoga. Also assisting with stress reduction, pain relief, relaxing stiff muscles, easing sore joints, and weight management.

Tai Chi:

The science of integration of body and mind, Tai Chi practice has been shown to increase energy and lower stress in numerous studies. Don’s teaching style is unique, he uses metaphor and sequence training to instill a deep sense of the internal energy involved and how to access it for health and self defense. As well as teaching the Chen Tai Chi form the class includes meditation, chi gung and energy flow techniques.  A beginner’s series is required for this class, please call 706.369.8855 for more details.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga* :

Vinyasa yoga is a dynamic sequence of poses linked by the breath. Vinyasa-style yoga combines a series of flowing postures with rhythmic breathing for an intense body-mind workout. It integrates awareness, alignment, balance, strength, flexibility and grace. Continually flowing through the poses serves to create internal heat which purifies the nervous system.
